About Me

Alexis Revitsky is an honors college graduate from Temple University in the School of Communications and Theater.  She has recently attained her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media.  Academics have always been a top priority to Alexis.  She graduated with a cumulative 3.80 GPA and maintained a spot on the Dean’s List.  Prior to attending Temple, she graduated with an Associate of Arts in Communications from Montgomery County Community College.

Alexis interned at Cornerstone Pictures, Inc. in Haverford, PA the fall semester of 2008 and learned hands on the process of producing a commercial spot for a client.  She has also produced and edited videos forPlymouth Whitemarsh High School and Jefferson Hospital’s Occupational Therapy Department.  Besides working on local productions, Alexis has worked as a camera operator for the National Dog Show in 2005 and as a production assistant for NBC’s Deal or No Deal during the open casting call in Philadelphia.  Currently, Alexis is working as an Assistant Director of Operations at Whitemarsh TV, a local government access station.  In addition to production, she also writes and had a poem published by the International Library of Poetry in 2005 which also received the Editor’s Pick Award.

Alexis’ first video production course at Montgomery County Community College had a major influence on her, as it guided her into pursuing a career in the field.  Temple University has also provided her with the experience of working in a television studio as well as researching and archiving for documentary work.  Alexis hopes to one day work as a producer for a major network, TV show, or film.  She also aspires to one day have her own video production company.

When Alexis isn’t at work she enjoys reading books and spends time writing original scripts, stories, and poems.  She also takes pleasure in doing crafts such as knitting.
